manual osteopathic therapy
At the core of manual osteopathic therapy is the belief that the body functions best when its structure is aligned—our treatments are designed to help you move, feel, and
live better.
what is manual osteopathic therapy?
Manual Osteopathic Therapy is a hands-on, holistic approach that focuses on restoring balance and function to the body. By gently assessing and treating the muscles, joints, fascia, and other soft tissues, this therapy helps relieve pain, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing processes. It’s a non-invasive, drug-free treatment that addresses the root causes of discomfort—perfect for those seeking long-term relief and improved overall wellness.
We know you’ve tried everything, and we know you want relief as soon as possible.
Manual osteopathic therapy offers a gentle, whole-body approach to health that treats more than just symptoms. By addressing imbalances in the body’s structure—such as tension, misalignment, or restricted movement—osteopathic therapy helps support optimal function and long-term healing.
It’s ideal for those seeking a natural, personalized alternative to pain management, injury recovery, and improved overall well-being. Whether you're dealing with chronic discomfort or simply want to move and feel better, osteopathy meets you where you are and helps you get back to where you want to be.
CONDITIONS WE CAN TREAT
Manual Osteopathic Therapy can help relieve a wide range of musculoskeletal and functional conditions by gently restoring balance and mobility throughout the body. It is particularly effective for treating back and neck pain, joint and muscle stiffness, headaches and migraines, postural imbalances, sciatica, and repetitive strain injuries. Many clients also find relief from TMJ dysfunction, digestive discomfort, and pregnancy-related aches. Because osteopathy focuses on the root cause of dysfunction—not just the symptoms—it’s a versatile therapy for both chronic and acute issues, as well as preventative care.
AT YOUR FIRST VISIT
Here’s what you can expect…
Your first Manual Osteopathic Therapy session begins with a thorough assessment of your health history, posture, and movement to understand your unique concerns and goals.
This is followed by a hands-on treatment using gentle, targeted techniques to release tension, improve alignment, and restore balance in the body. The treatments are performed fully clothed, and we ask you to arrive in (or bring) comfortable clothes you can easily move in.
Corrections to your alignment are gentle, effective, and generally pain-free. You may feel immediate relief or notice gradual improvements over the following days as your body responds to the therapy.

Manual osteopathic therapy is considered very safe and generally pain-free. Unlike the high velocity thrusts you might expect from a chiropractic visit, manual osteopathic adjustments are gentle and slow - and the patient is often in control of the movement and intensity.
