Sometimes. You often can see the capillaries disappear immediately while treating, but as the capillary remains connected to blood supply at one end, sometimes it can take additional treatment(s). For very dense veins we recommend breaking it up into multiple sessions to allow for the body to breakdown the capillary wall and absorb the blood.

No, there is almost no trauma. Crusting will recover in 7-10 days or so. It won’t leave ascar or even any marks after treatment as long as post care is followed, and no picking occurs. If you have a more melanated skin tone, your skin therapist may advise you to use a pigment inhibitor on the area either before and/or after your treatment to minimize any risk of hyperpigmentation.

It depends on the area being treated. In most parts of the body, you can hardly feel the pain. A slight redness will occur, but it will disappear very soon. No downtime, just healing time. Eye areas can swell a bit, but ice pack can help. We can offer numbing for treatment in more sensitive areas.

Avoid harsh cleansers, glycolic acids, and scrubs, on treated areas
Steam or hot baths 1-2 days after may cause sensitivity.
Avoid applying cosmetics until crust occurs.
Avoid any activity that flushes the skin and sun exposure to fresh new skin
