Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A working lymphatic system is essential to the body’s ability to regenerate tissues, drain fluids, filter out foreign substances and toxins, detoxify, and maintain a healthy immune system. When the body is under stress, fatigued, experiencing infections, fighting a disease process, or—in certain cases—recovering from surgery, the process may be slowed down.
Lymphatic drainage massage benefits include enhanced quality of the skin, particularly in the face. Skin looks more youthful and alive when its cells are bathed in fluid, as when the lymph is flowing.

MY APPROACH
MLD Treatments Offered…
Facial MLD Treatment (60 min) :: $185
uses gentle, rhythmical hand pressure and repetitive sequences that stimulate the pulse of the lymphatic system. Because the lymph system relies on physical movement and contraction of muscles to activate + better filtrate, MLD therapy stimulates the lymphatic flow + drainage to targeted areas, cleansing the lymph and helping to rejuvenate tissues and cells to promote healing.
Manual lymphatic drainage treatments of the face can support:
decreasing inflammation
helping to ease sinus pressure + discomfort
pre or post facial/dental surgery prep + recovery support
helping with nervous system regulation (stress, anxiety)
Pre/Post Cosmetic Surgery Treatment (60 min) :: $185
Currently, we only offer pre/post operation MLD treatments for elective (cosmetic) surgeries. For optimum results, we recommend booking in for three treatments close together right before your surgery. (For example, if your procedure is on Tuesday afternoon, book in Mon am, Mon pm and Tue am.) Pre-treatment helps expedite healing and decrease complications like fibrosis post-surgery.
Cosmetic surgeries all produce swelling to some extent because it is part of the body’s normal healing process. Some cosmetic surgeries, such as liposuction procedures and tummy tucks, disrupt the natural pathways taken by the lymphatic system because of the location of the surgery. Other regions of the body, such as the nose after rhinoplasty, produce swelling that can last for a long time—even up to one year. Other cosmetic procedures that impact the face can also produce months of swelling. Once cleared by your surgeon after surgery, we can support your recovery with additional treatments to help reduce bruising and swelling and encourage healing.
